The Swedish National Audit Office has been cooperating
with three Supreme Audit Offices in BiH (The Supreme Office for the Republic
of Srpska Public Sector Auditing, The
Office for Auditing of the Financial
Operations of Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and
The Office for
audit of the institutions at level of Federation of Bosnia and
Herzegovina) since the year 2000.
The cooperation is based on Memorandum of understanding and on
Project document with Annexes. The Cooperation is related to public
sector auditing, and Swedish National Audit Office is providing
expertise services and support institutionalized approach to the
capacity building for all three institutions in BiH.
The Project goals are that all three Institutions
are self sustainable and responsible, that they develop their own high
quality reports, in the legal time frame and according to the
internationally recognized audit standards.
Total goals of the Supreme Audit Office should be achieved through
activities adopted within the Strategic development plan (2007-2008) as
follows:
- Institutional strengthening,
- Professional development and
- Insuring of the overall quality of auditing
The cooperation will be conducted with other institutions in
closer and wider surrounding, and that are important for work and
strengthening of Supreme Audit Office for the RS Public Sector
Accounting. |
